This Privacy Policy explains how GREENTECH PROJECT DEVELOPMENT I.K.E., trading as Greenteque (“we”, “us”), collects and uses personal data when you visit greenteque.com or contact us through the website. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Greek Law 4624/2019.

The data controller is GREENTECH PROJECT DEVELOPMENT I.K.E. (distinctive title GREENTECH PROJECTS), which operates the Greenteque brand and the website greenteque.com.

2. What data we collect

Data you give us through our enquiry forms: first name, surname, company or organisation, country, region or city, job title (optional), email address, phone number, the reason for contacting us and the description of your project. Please do not include sensitive personal data in the description field.

Data you send us by email or phone: the contact details and information you choose to share with us.

Data collected automatically: technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the website that referred you. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, as explained in section 6 and in our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal for your project. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To communicate with you about an ongoing project or contract. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep the website secure and working properly. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To measure how the website is used and how well our advertising works (analytics and advertising cookies). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings.
• To comply with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting rules. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.

4. Who receives your data

Your data is accessed only by Greenteque staff who need it to handle your enquiry. We also use trusted service providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts that oblige them to protect it:

• our website hosting and email providers;
• Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads), only if you accept the relevant cookies;
• partners or subcontractors involved in a project, only when this is needed to prepare or carry out your project and with your knowledge;
• public authorities, when required by law.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In those cases transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the website. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only after you accept them in the cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode, so Google tags adjust their behaviour to your choice. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Manage consent” option on the website. 7. How long we keep your data

• Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months after our last communication, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
• Data related to a contract: for as long as the contract lasts and afterwards for the period required by Greek tax and commercial law.
• Analytics data: according to the retention settings of Google Analytics (up to 14 months).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα), 1-3 Kifisias Avenue, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to enquiries.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
